Most people learn what is happening in their own town from somebody who has never been there. A newsroom two states away decides which council vote matters, which protest counts, and which story never runs at all. Wake Up America hands that job back to the people who live on the street in question.
We recruit and train local reporters, give each one their own channel, and put their videos in front of their own community. Our reporters cover the culture fights, the city and school boards, the wars our money pays for, what things actually cost, and the questions people are tired of hearing dodged. We ask for one thing in return: show your work. Name the source, show the document, roll the whole answer.
A local reporter covers the story where it is actually happening, on a phone
Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, then posted to their channel and their city
Neighbors see it, share it, and the reporter's name starts to mean something locally
Our reporters do not stay anonymous. Every video carries their name, their face and their channel, across the site, the city pages and social media. Post consistently and you stop being someone with an opinion about your town and become the person your town checks with — a locally recognized conservative voice with an audience of their own.
