When Jake Jacobs was a young undergraduate history student at Arizona State University in the 1970’s he quickly realized his Professors were selling him politically correct pablum that covered up America’s exceptional place in World History. Jake went on to earn an M.A. in Judeo-Christian Studies learning about the Hebraic-Jewish roots of Christianity and the world of Europe and Middle Eastern Studies. Concerned about the ACLU & NEA’s attempt to revise America’s Judeo-Christian Foundation Jake earned a Ph.D. in Early American History from North-West University with his Dissertation titled; The Influence of Biblical Ideas on Early American Republicanism and History.
Jake considers himself a “Radical” in the original sense of the word where the Latin radicalis means “of roots” and connotes the necessity of studying the roots of any given topic to ascertain it’s historical context vs. today’s emphasis on political correctness. Whether it is the Hebraic-Jewish Roots of Christianity or the Judeo-Christian Roots of Early American History, Jake’s passion is to explain and educate his audiences on those important roots for America today!
As one of the last Americans to visit President Ronald Reagan in his L.A. office in 1998, Jake has carried the message of the “Gipper” through various venues, such as George Bush’s Presidential Campaign in 2000 & 2004, giving speeches with RNC Chairmen and Ambassador to the Vatican Jim Nicholson and Life of Reagan Conferences in Milwaukee, Oshkosh, and Appleton, WI.
By accident in 2008 while attending a local Tea Party event Jake was asked to come up and say a few words about the Federal Government. He got the crowd so moved to action that he has since been in demand for a number of Tea Party meetings, speaking with Dick Morris, Joe “The Plumber,” WI Senator Ron Johnson, WI Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, and many others.
Known throughout the Public Education field as a Politically Incorrect Instructor and “Fighter of the NEA,” Jake has been asked by Fox & Friends to defend WI Governor Scott Walker’s budget changes this past winter in Madison, WI. Jake counted the cost and defended the Governor. Ostracized by colleagues, ridiculed by citizens in the press, and maligned by many, Jake practiced what he speaks, preaches on, and was consistent with his conservative convictions.
Jake published the book The Gospel, Gods Law and Government: The Biblical Worldview of our Founding Fathers in 2003 and is presently working on a new book titled American Cosmology: A Potpourri of America’s Judeo-Christian Values in American History.
